Thank you for visiting us!

Hello one and all!
It has been a very long time since we last posted... And that is simply the fault of the one in charge of making posts... *ahem* me....
However, the laziness of the blogger does not represent the club in anyway. The women of the Keep 'n Stitches have been very busy working on several projects and are excited to accomplishing things for the Lord one project at a time.
For those of you who are new to this blog, allow me to do a little recap. We are a craft group from Spencerville SDA Church under the community ministries department. In the past we have made scarves, hats, blankets, sweaters, baby blankets, lap blankets and shawls for a wide range of people such as the shut-in members of our church, the homeless of DC, orphans of Zambia and India, and students of Albania.
The group started back in 2006 as an idea that sprung from the chilly weather a group of Pathfinders was experiencing during a camp out. Our first project was in conjunction with another ministry from the Spencerville Church: making hats and scarves for the day-laborers in the DC-Metropolitan area. From then, our group has grown in ways on God have created. We are dedicated to serving the Lord through our work and seek to evangelize besides providing for physical needs.
Currently the group is working on a project to make hats for a new school in the highlands of Nepal for about 150 children. Please pray that this project will be a success and if you wish to help in anyway, please email us at fvsbrn@verizon.net.
A special thanks to those who made it possibly to go and share with the people at the Chesapeake Conference Camp Meeting about how richly God has blessed us. Thank you and God be with you all!
