Casa de Esperanza, Nicaragua
Our newest project as of January 2012 is making clothes for boys and girls from the orphanage Casa de Esperanza in Nicaragua. The Keep in Stitches is currently working on sewing warm weather clothing for these young people and are seeking to involve the wider church community as well through donations of new/gently used articles of clothing for babies such as: cloth diapers, diaper pins, onesies, etc.

A Wider Circle
We had the great opportunity to partner with a group called A Wider Circle, a non-profit organization that helps children and adults lift themselves out of poverty. We donated 75 flannel baby blankets to their well-mother, well-baby program in November of 2011.

Saprinu "Shining Star" Academy, Nepal
It was our great honor and privilege to make over 100 hats for the students of Saprinu "Shining Star" Academy in a rural village of Nepal. Founder, Brooke Laura, visited the Keep In Stitches team to present her work to us. At that time, the team presented her with beautiful, hand-knitted hats that were made for the children of her academy. She was so excited to see how much work had been put into the project and eagerly accepted our donation. Not long after Brooke returned to Nepal, she sent us pictures of the children in their brand new hats. Their faces are glowing with happiness. Thank you so all who helped in this project and we ask that you please continue to pray for the Saprinu Academy. For more information or to learn how to donate to Shining Star Academy please visit their website at: www.saprinu.org
